Description

ALKA 111 is a high-performance, 100% Novolac epoxy coating system engineered for heavy-duty corrosion and chemical protection in harsh industrial environments. Supplied as a 24kg kit comprising 18kg resin, 4kg hardener, and 2kg pigment, this highly crosslinked epoxy lining delivers exceptional durability, low permeability, and superior resistance to acids, solvents, alcohols, gasohol, and aggressive chemicals.

Designed for wastewater treatment tanks, storage tank linings, chemical containment bunds, food processing facilities, pulp and paper mills, fertilizer and insecticide plants, and petroleum refineries, ALKA 111 provides long-term protection against chemical attack and corrosion. Its rapid-curing formulation offers a pot life of approximately 22 minutes, becomes tack-free in 4 hours, can be recoated within 12–24 hours, and reaches full cure in 10 days.

Available in a neutral base and tintable through the ALKA Colour Solutions range, ALKA 111 can be applied by brush or roller to achieve a recommended coating thickness of 160–200 microns per coat. With excellent bond strength, low VOC content, and outstanding mechanical performance, it is an ideal solution for industrial assets requiring maximum chemical resistance and long service life.
