Description

ALKA 150 is a high-performance, environmentally friendly water-based epoxy coating formulated to provide durable protection and decorative finishes in demanding industrial and commercial environments. Supplied as a 24kg kit comprising 20kg resin and 4kg hardener, this low VOC coating delivers excellent moisture resistance, colour stability, scratch resistance, UV resistance, and long-term durability.

Suitable for warehouses, storage and packaging facilities, clean rooms, automotive workshops, food and beverage production areas, laboratories, schools, assembly plants, industrial processing floors, and high-traffic commercial spaces, ALKA 150 provides a hard-wearing and attractive finish. Its neutral base can be combined with decorative vinyl flakes, coloured quartz, and metallic powders to create customised flooring systems.

Available in Light Grey (RAL 7035), Dusty Grey (RAL 7037), Slate Grey (RAL 7015), Jet Black (RAL 9005), Dahlia Yellow (RAL 1033), Pure Orange (RAL 2004), Oxide Red (RAL 3009), Signal Blue (RAL 5005), Grass Green (RAL 6010), Traffic Red (RAL 3020), and Signal White (RAL 9003), ALKA 150 offers flexibility for both safety and decorative flooring requirements.

Applied by brush or roller, the coating provides a recommended dry film thickness of 160–200 microns per coat with a coverage rate of approximately 0.25–0.30kg/m². It features a pot life of approximately 25 minutes, becomes tack-free within 12–14 hours, can be recoated after 12–24 hours, supports light traffic after 3 days, and achieves full cure within 7 days, making it an ideal solution for durable, long-lasting floor protection.
